Finished my canvaswork from a Christmas card sent to us 2 years ago. It just seemed to lend itself to the interpretation, I really liked the design. Worked on natural canvas with free canvaswork stitches & diagonal darning background. Threads a mixture of stranded cottons, perle, wool & gold. Shepherdesses crooks are wrapped wire. Sheep are french knots & cross stitch.

Received another christmas card this year by the same designer - 3 ships a-sailing. Think it might have to be a series....
